DTAX – Updating the Advertising List

Overview

During tax season, clerks often need to update the Advertising List displayed on the public DTAX (kydtax) website.

Steps

1. Generate the advertising list (List G) from within DTAX.

2. Save the file to the designated county folder.

3. The system’s nightly job will automatically update the public kydtax page based on this file.

Notes

• This process is seasonal (typically November–December).

• Rate updates do not occur in DTAX this time of year.

• For rate changes, see the Franchise Billing → DTAX → Rate/District process, used during other times of the year.
