Overview
Franchise Billing assessments may appear in multiple sections (real estate and tangible). Understanding how classification codes work ensures every district calculates and prints correctly.
Rates
Franchise Billing rates for each year are provided by the Sheriff.
These rates match the county’s DTAX rates.
Assessment Sections
Assessment totals may differ between sections depending on the codes used:
100-series — Real Estate
200-series — Tangible Personal Property
108/109 — School District classifications
Depending on configuration, totals may need to be combined or kept separate. The key is confirming that all taxing districts appear on the printed bill (HLTH, LIB, SCHL, etc.).
If anything looks incorrect, contact Customer Support so we can assist in verifying district setup.
