Sleep Mode	Press power button once
Reboot	Press and hold power button
Hard Reboot	Press and hold until screen goes black and reboots

🔹 Common Issues & Fixes

Issue	Resolution
Communication to server error	Reboot the device.
Deposit off by $13.50	This was a monthly fee no longer charged to clerks; attorneys still see this fee.
Deposit off by $30.00	PCI Compliance not completed after signed paperwork >90 days. Refund once compliance is finished.
Deposit off by >$43.50	A terminal did not auto-close its batch; balance will deposit the following day.
Deposit off by a few cents	Caused by rounding differences in daily work deposit.
Device shows no internet (Wi-Fi)	Reboot device.
Device shows no internet (Hardwired)	Reseat USB-C power and Ethernet connections, then reboot. Have Ops check device mapping if unresolved.

• POSTS R: Run transactions as a Credit Card Form of Payment (FOP).

• POSTS P: Enter a separate deposit for credit cards vs. cash/check deposits.

• Authorization Code: Found on receipt; used in KAVIS.

• Deposits: Funds are deposited next day without processing fees.

• Refunds: Can be done via the device or by issuing a refund check.

• Portals:

  • No login needed on devices.

  • Web portal is reporting-only, not for processing transactions.
