Why Is a Record Locked After Writing?

When a record is written in CCLIX, it is finalized by the system.

Finalization applies restrictions that prevent certain fields from being edited. This behavior is enforced automatically to preserve the integrity of the recorded data.

If additional changes are required after a record is written, the system may require a different type of action rather than standard editing.
