Saving vs Writing a Record in CCLIX
What’s the difference between “Save” and “Write”?
In CCLIX, Save and Write serve different purposes.
Saving a record keeps your work in progress.
The record remains editable and is not finalized by the system.Writing a record finalizes the record.
Once written, the system treats it as permanent and applies restrictions to preserve record integrity.
Saving allows continued edits. Writing completes the record.
Important to Know
Writing a record is not reversible through normal editing
Saving does not complete or finalize a record
The system enforces these behaviors automatically
CCLIX reflects what action was taken — it does not decide when an action should be taken.
