Explanation:
This is just a counter from the Fujitsu status monitor. It should be running in the taskbar by the clock (a lower case “i” in a blue circle. Just like a printer maintenance reminder, these do a cycle count and estimate the need to replace the rollers in the scanner. If the scanner is working properly, or even if the rollers have been replaced, the status monitor will continue to display these messages until the count is reset in the FUJITSU Software Operation Panel.
The Software Operation Panel can be found in the Start Menu as ‘Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows’. Open this program and select “Device Settings”. On the right, click the ‘clear’ button next to the consumable you have replaced (or want to stop getting a message about), then click ‘Apply’. A message will pop up asking if you want to write this information to the EEPROM of the printer. Once completed, the scanner cycle count will be reset.
